Doug Capone
Doug Capone is a Professor of Biological Sciences and the William and Julie Wrigley Chair in Environmental Studies at the University of Southern California. He is a leader in the field of marine nitrogen fixation and will investigate this process on the ANACONDAS expedition. He will look at N2-fixation by both Trichodesmium and the Diatom-Diazotroph associations and make connections between these rates and photosynthetic activity and nutrient uptake.
